/ Q5 m" b( _4 xPosition Abstract: The Regional Sustainability Coordinator will be responsible for effectively leading and delivering the AUMA's Municipal Sustainability Planning (MSP) Initiative, Phase 4. ) q+ r; c. @" c9 f
$ z/ X* I& `1 k7 m; q6 SThe successful candidate will be self-directed and able to work within a collaborative team process, to plan/coordinate the development/delivery of learning resources/events at the local community level within the GAER region.; N* z1 P' E8 F6 ]
/ B+ f, @% c' s R( B4 v0 jKnowledge, Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in social sciences, administration or arts with relevant work experience is considered an asset.0 f+ Y9 `8 K. B) r. P
4 n6 J) |0 r2 \/ [; r8 NThe ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years experience in the following areas: community development/community leadership capacity building; development of partnerships between yourself and the local stakeholders; project coordination; knowledge of municipal planning; superior written/oral communication skills; report-writing and evaluation; working with people of all ages and from diverse backgrounds; communications planning and implementation.
