The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.

6 Z& V4 _  y' TDuties:
•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
% I5 X$ f5 j. {& r0 t1 |* o•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

2 s; T# c! h! h  @- L•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
6 b* `7 Z+ Y2 A" V5 h& x( O- c•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
; h: @) l2 ?5 f; P8 w/ c•        Degree in the area of human services;
2 ]. d; S' u7 \& `•        Able to travel extensively ;
% E8 J7 @. t) H$ w% Z7 A4 o•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
: j3 G, i2 H2 r2 {3 z# ~; G1 ^: V•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
