The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.

Duties:
•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
7 _2 C9 O3 K+ C1 j; z" E•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
3 r2 S6 g$ s) C' ~+ |/ v) d•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.

•        Able to travel extensively ;
) {5 G1 m9 @# P( o* X! h$ d# }. u•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
) |( d: h0 [) a- n8 j•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
  B) S+ q! `2 W/ T: S# V+ v•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
