The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

Duties:
5 }! z$ _& B. ^& {2 D6 U$ S•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
7 \+ O1 E4 t  B. f- T7 A) e•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

Requirements:
•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.

$ F4 J6 O$ ^1 @/ S7 \1 i•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
3 t) g& T/ L/ @# j3 V1 g5 E6 _•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
# L) O$ k6 y8 O: l+ k2 H- d% X# Y•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
9 r# N! S! M+ v$ u, g( Y•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
