Full time position (35 hours each week)

8 s$ B5 }7 U9 d" r$ CJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
  I% T4 ~# C4 z•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
2 D8 x* Y6 q" W/ U) t•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
/ `1 [) Z. z3 K: D•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
/ e' u) Y5 t' ?- x) e•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
' s2 T. p3 Q8 t. `: Z% z* S•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
6 ~+ z0 _! u$ q$ Y8 d5 q* m•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
2 A2 Q# L! I. @. y5 U•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
7 Y2 ?2 y( }+ I* l1 t. R•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
. O% Y5 P8 R  D5 m•        willingness to learn
