Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

* R$ W1 J0 S5 }. T1 o3 v+ VJob Description – Responsibilities
( z! `  x8 ?6 u( ?4 B+ J* ~" z•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
' [0 @9 `! |  N4 T0 C•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
/ j, `3 Q. z( V  Q( E•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
5 D8 H* |: p" I+ x2 l4 ]•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
$ b3 `3 i. r2 v' S5 e8 l•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
  T9 Z9 k: T& m" I  M7 Z* ^•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
  [  s0 f( Z; f2 \1 f8 O7 J" {•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
: G$ x) r) _9 \& U' `+ w•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
0 P% A: E5 S8 \& g, z/ G$ d& s•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
; K6 D2 N0 j/ Z' ~% o•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
" F0 O6 F7 Q5 W- [•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
- F" @1 y; w( K4 l  D' W4 j•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
6 [/ Z! P' X  `9 b# b+ U•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
; M' I0 r% e& c; E7 w' X" `•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
