Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

8 b) q' {9 i% `* s2 OJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
. l0 A* e5 f8 p# t•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
: u! w, Z  [: @8 _3 x•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
2 B# A9 B: j; K2 }•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
' @& }4 w) q* h  ^' s1 n" G•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
' T+ e4 W9 u& k, }•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
% \/ {, \* X8 E7 O& X•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
' J( j+ B' a8 H; j# ^7 H•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
+ C" ?0 C' K3 y: l4 Y- N+ |6 Z•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
