Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
0 u3 [) i; Z- r: H; f8 Q•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
! G: E$ K- C6 c$ m: p•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
, `# Q7 F3 j7 c•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
4 O, A) e7 d4 @( r1 u•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
0 U8 L, W1 R( O: E5 a+ d8 G, e•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

9 k7 c5 `3 t, O! t' ~# [•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
% i5 q( }. L- z2 Q•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
