Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

$ c4 n! i# _- T7 B* g& tJob Description – Responsibilities
" V/ |" l0 r; }- ?•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
. [/ F  b& r' w7 {* q% B4 l•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
1 D; X0 J* e" p5 {•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
" B: Z9 w, W! {' l•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
, d* j3 x/ f& \3 c4 w2 v•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
