Full time position (35 hours each week)

8 @5 ^6 t7 e& WJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
8 Z6 e% e9 X7 k) @, ?6 J) y! ?+ `; w•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
& G' A0 S9 P5 H$ v•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
4 {( T5 t; o/ m( G( x; A  m( ?•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
' l- Y. }# {; \; }3 L•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
* N7 d! m7 J7 ~3 Q•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
1 J- s& d+ _/ D: F, F3 g•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
