Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
1 W& ]: g4 J! H•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
5 d  V6 ~" x/ z! w) p7 l•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
& o9 P* n' d  Q+ M( O8 C•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
7 E9 H7 f1 W1 C* h8 J. ]9 t•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
/ K$ K; O* V4 N2 A& u) {•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
5 T8 @9 n$ `* E  M) _•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
9 U: e8 E; k* n- E& s! q! }•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
2 O" E3 b0 s) m•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
3 I/ @9 L* Y$ A: h•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
/ i/ _5 E, T- B( Z0 ]2 j2 Z•        willingness to learn
