The pain of our loss is beyond anything we could
* d( t& Y/ q* E( c+ N8 ~> have ever imagined. Over
> and over again people tell us that they could never
/ ^# T2 T+ E6 j& O> begin to understand the
0 X/ q; l& @; H* Y( U; I> depth of our loss. That is true. But we know of One
5 @" p7 q! Z7 Y" t6 B> who does understand and
7 {1 h, E7 `2 e( w> feel our pain because He lost His son, too. It
> happened when God gave the
> sinless life of His son ant the cross to redeem
+ ]+ _& T  g$ U, Y> sinful lives and to purchase
  L! p" P/ s% X5 @> forgiveness for us all. There days later, He raised
; `. ?, C, H, I7 @) ?> His son from the dead
9 R  ?+ y0 r- k> and conquered death. It is though this event where
, r, K" o: X3 G8 b> human history was
$ j2 |3 ^. W0 O0 A> intersected by divine grace and mercy that we have
> hope. This hope, that's
: b" T. O, x. H$ N- e. a3 W> what's sustaining us. It's not an idle wish, but a
> certainty based on the
> promise of God. And this hope fills us with eager
> anticipation and a longing
> for the time when we shall be forever with the Lord.

. g8 v3 h6 C0 F3 C- @" o> will ease the pain of our loss, as the Prince of
- k7 o" |* V+ }5 B5 ?7 A( V5 R> Peace comes to our hearts
