Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

1 A2 m/ ^9 [& x& QMajor Responsibilities:
+ `* H' K3 i- E1 E( @# r& k7 }• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.# v ]( k; s% `. n( u
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.( v/ Z8 n+ ~; R, e& V
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. $ u6 D; |+ X; A$ _3 `
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.

• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.8 o" K% ~. z. b( }# \- E4 w$ P
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.) p/ L! T& k, k8 c. q8 ]
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.9 C0 E8 z+ m) v9 s' E" ^
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.% S9 b" C* p% m% w
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
, B# {) Q6 o* j9 s• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy./ \. n: |2 K2 r: r1 [0 {; {! Q
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.1 z( V/ l0 m* G, g% M: H6 l
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
7 [, R" U! O. |$ y$ l) _* {: N; n• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. & ^6 e5 J' M X$ j
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
( M0 J$ S+ U( X2 b: z- N1 J& a• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
; }: T( d# p ]7 l" e• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential* A9 D& V4 b4 K; l5 M* v2 t+ ^: B5 l* Q
• Not scared of heights2 D" b2 Y" O* o+ F$ r4 s$ Q
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other$ |" I" y: x8 [9 ^7 t% w9 k
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
