Major Responsibilities: 6 w; ~: s! Q+ Y$ m( r
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
+ |+ K* Q t a, L• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
1 I! i9 M& t2 a/ s: ?. M0 I• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. R/ `7 J- ]4 V2 G( b( |
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
- }) i- G# g& g& E0 t$ F" G• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.* |: Q( T$ D# j& g/ K( a4 b L
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
) s; ^; [: R" G/ U* @- d• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.7 X% A* `; z( j3 c w$ r0 t
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive., D% w6 e5 y' B, R0 o
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
6 t7 T+ y2 C3 W( k; q5 Y7 P• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.$ [- `9 ?/ I& B4 F' l; N0 b/ P
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
3 @/ M1 z% n. B• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 9 k+ q) Z, P( U. \+ q
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
d5 b* j, \" J2 Z. e• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. & ]% g# J% {; q* w, s
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 9 T5 u7 i; u: y
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
; l2 v+ v4 I# H1 \4 [! V• Not scared of heights j$ [0 t& y7 z+ f& s; Z; ?+ j
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
