Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
5 y5 O- {7 ?: k3 h/ ?+ {7 A( R$ l•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
/ w. D9 Z2 m' a7 R6 p$ r•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.+ @! U1 z% c2 M# F; f$ {" S4 u
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  - Q0 G1 C  ^% V/ V" F" h0 q
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office./ U& U9 P: m2 P. I0 x
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.$ T. I* `& S$ v
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
: i' l1 a0 \& b# C•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.; j* w2 I7 v  b1 j8 l1 X0 P
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.. b! w$ [9 I* s$ R/ ^3 S, J
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
  _) Z) [5 l# I8 A" G•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
& j3 S. K; K' n% \7 r/ T- d•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
