Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2& h% p& c$ f8 |# `: I( X% `' T
Location: Calgary and Vancouver
% j8 m) H: `/ g; uReports to: National Sales Manager$ n* {! p* N0 ^5 Q2 _% y

Major Responsibilities:
: v, e! s& _. ^5 @- Q/ D• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
( e% A g% \% w7 x- U# d• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
) X: a+ h# x) }4 S" I• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 9 [9 M* i5 b3 v+ A; C
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
4 [ Q9 y9 D( B8 {• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
# r" e3 y, } f1 c) U# X/ b• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
7 S; u% h8 m+ B1 _! [• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
, r6 G9 m6 l$ A0 C# K# V• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.' O6 K! r3 ^2 P* O6 `3 K
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.1 a2 J2 Q8 t, b$ ~, U; X5 J
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
m6 u6 M3 b* H9 k; n• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
\5 m0 T* G% o: N% ~* [8 b• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
& q% z4 @# c; N+ s; C L; b8 b/ P• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:0 a: G8 w N% I* g) v# n
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
d' x2 I' x7 L. \; B# S, X• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
" r; F' y5 h+ W• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. . A0 l8 ~& t6 M. |7 ?
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
2 t4 W4 U8 A/ t& F• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential; G! Y' Y9 Z$ i* o7 `& B* x3 r
• Not scared of heights( W7 n" ^. B9 `0 T
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other: }$ S$ g% ^) O* T! \4 h3 i
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
