. k  t1 G& u1 e; T
    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program
    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities
% T( }6 w4 a- E2 h6 E7 C    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes
+ ^2 F$ _& p. q, M6 c8 Q    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders
( N* F- |1 o, n5 e% W* ~3 L    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
! v. l* Q! n- |+ @    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs
    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director
    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning

8 F2 x* V  H  @- Q7 @9 |( b    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media
    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
% f8 ?6 _, N  Y% j. N    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies

# [& s( @/ u0 ^3 c
% _1 z4 R8 ]& b" Y, S( d; q    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
$ O" e( r: c3 p, l    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
0 N( H5 E8 z* ?( C3 T1 [: G    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
2 c% L, ~  K0 q6 o    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
! P" D5 {5 ]* \% h    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
: D: h% ~' ^+ y  D7 B( ^    * Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)
! F  I: M7 L7 ?5 g5 q, }    * Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
