EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.8 q6 O3 Z& I* S% o, S
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.) V* P0 r" K. z9 i7 e/ r
Officers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.3 C/ [* [4 U7 V, d% O! y. l
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
