* Provides routine technical and administrative support for sample preparations and mineral separation for isotopic analysis8 j+ B( V$ L2 f6 l6 r" o
* Conducts mineral separation, sample imaging, grant mount preparation, sample weighing and iron exchange chromatography
: i2 T9 [4 [8 \7 M- O * Provides training to graduate students, visiting scientists on preparation techniques

* Performs routine maintenance on equipment and lab husbandry: L" O8 O) C5 ^- p! _8 u
* Orders supplies, maintains lab records, maintain WHMIS records and compliance labeling, maintains lab inventory and safe disposal of chemicals- A+ [% {5 }& k6 h+ |( r
* Provides safety training to students, staff and visitors using the lab8 n% m/ B G5 Q1 w0 ~0 l @$ A2 e
* Provides administrative support by maintaining records, (usage and expenses) and prepares invoices

* Post Secondary diploma in laboratory technology, Chemistry or Earth Sciences; BSc in Geology or Chemistry preferred' h' n, T: l2 Y) e
* 1-2 years experience working in a research environment (analytical chemistry lab or geochemical lab)
