Tent event moves Edmonton's job market into the great outdoors
: P* _+ V3 r( O$ r8 m+ ?: TJob hunting and staff recruiting become fun outdoor activities on June 12

: w* P! U6 Z1 x2 O2 n0 o0 I" DEdmonton... Edmontonians looking for a job, considering a career change, or struggling to find qualified staff are invited to drop by the Alberta Employment and Immigration Tent Event on Thursday, June 12, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tents will be set up at the Alberta Service Centre located at 6325 Gateway Boulevard.

Visitors will be treated to a free barbecue lunch plus an outdoor mini job fair, career services expo, contests and prizes, and a charity dunk tank in support of Habitat for Humanity.

# `1 X3 g% v/ E" X  pA number of local employers will be recruiting staff onsite, including: Alberta Motor Association, Beretta Protective K-9 Services, International Compass Group, Mark’s Work Warehouse, McKesson Pharmaceutical, and Parkland Class.

  H2 g8 D& \% Q/ s. y  W) GThe Tent Event is a fun way for employers and job seekers to connect and find out about all the free career-planning, staff recruitment and job-search services offered by Alberta Employment and Immigration.
