Duties
* ?& P) y# J* ]$ w8 [) x$ @Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele4 e7 V5 R& N8 }: p
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management2 x; b7 t; F" g L" I
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
) k7 e& O/ j$ pProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
' s5 ?3 |3 I/ T3 W* T% EWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff1 b( w, M6 F" X4 i+ w
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
+ q3 v6 O1 B6 F4 k3 L! D7 oDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP o1 ?8 t! c9 r) l+ O
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS) h( L% G J) j& `
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
+ b: k, @( D* URecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
) [+ I# [6 ~0 g! F! e2 i3 T, vMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations6 T1 f/ h" p" A# G6 P( F
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)8 }% ]9 m& j- r+ K( `
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
