Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele

2 T' Q, L/ C+ aResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers8 k: m& R7 o& T5 @$ J
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support0 |0 b6 H/ g; |" [8 y: N
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff. i& u6 Y9 Z9 }4 h% t
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System4 Y G& a* c7 t( K
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP) g5 }3 ]7 G/ o" \7 k' ?. f
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
% w& j: J+ \: ADesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

+ y A8 ^: {+ b$ q& k7 A/ ~Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program W1 u% G9 m& ]) p! ~
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
9 H- U$ a! F9 e- |2 O8 z" cMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations P$ v1 t5 A+ G
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
