- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker

- post secondary diploma

Job Description
5 U5 r& q/ p( Q3 f s- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
7 K: N+ J( W( X6 L4 O- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services, D( _; {( N" k* p
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
9 t; x& }- R: @( \8 V- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
8 o6 s/ ?$ _+ K+ O* I- ?) _- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
" g0 E8 U+ D% F: _3 U# c- update ASSIST website
: \1 U) @2 a/ Y* R3 `: {- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
^) O ^8 }- I8 {) b- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

- write quarterly and final reports for ISP5 g9 Q2 p0 L9 ^
- hold regular meetings with ISP team) B+ K: S$ [/ Q) o, r d
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time5 j' [! t% y( O% N8 \8 K- w6 }
- update membership database

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education . y4 E2 _0 L' w! q) G" | ^- y
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
( W a- u; P* V2 T' i- experience in community work and immigrant services" X# m1 z( S+ f$ I
