Immigrant Settlement Program (ISP) at ASSIST Community Services Centre is currently seeking flexible individual to fill the following two positions:

- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.# j' P* R z, a1 Q h% e
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker3 Q7 `! \: L7 M
- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team( ^. Z, I, q1 y& y& E% ~

Qualifications:
T* Z0 V, R0 z) \- post secondary diploma 1 v5 [- ^0 y( Z2 g" k' q
- customer service and office clerical experiences0 _+ N* C* h1 l4 J6 t
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community; P. ]% d+ i1 l+ Y/ ^; u
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services5 c" H7 O9 h# s% {. H" y
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services2 H# h1 |7 r" F' A+ k4 D: t
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies3 ?4 Y z- ]. n: P
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
. `) W6 L+ O. \" ~- update ASSIST website
; d; H5 r# c. s8 v! M" _9 _) c' l- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre. C6 ^) ]- k" T1 y
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services6 e! Q; m6 Y: [ e
- assist in writing proposal for ISP
- `! J9 l1 d) d- write quarterly and final reports for ISP

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time+ m' D3 l' X/ ~. W) W
- update membership database

Qualifications+ R( B* t+ Y3 @7 w3 ]! s" O
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education + y) `% V' j2 [$ r$ z f
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
$ T4 l; Q7 {2 T+ u% y- experience in community work and immigrant services$ u0 L$ u7 i3 j' \: [ N: D" @. u
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset( D6 i0 `' r. c6 b+ U
