- post secondary diploma

Job Description
. z1 v5 ?" ^5 K8 k- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community3 U$ ?& l: K9 H
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
. _' N z% O1 h: D$ s- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
- ~; Y: K+ O& f- p) t1 i* y. I* i- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
+ C8 ]( u$ K# t! H2 g! O: ^- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members l, ^; \" g# x
- update ASSIST website! ^8 C5 N0 g7 M8 Z! o9 U( w
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
$ I: E7 X+ @: Y7 h! p+ }) g4 z- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services0 M/ v. q, X& k
- assist in writing proposal for ISP
& v* T. V# H4 C( a- write quarterly and final reports for ISP) h J; u; i3 y% {
- hold regular meetings with ISP team) P% p2 `0 a8 e' b! i n
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education % C: R3 q! U& Q! z) q! e6 Q b
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
* ^4 C5 B! f# Y( h3 U' F1 }- experience in community work and immigrant services! E3 Z1 X/ U- i- R
