时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。* c3 M0 S" x0 k

% G6 ]$ A! A9 w9 ?( nThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for% N+ G! Z6 u; l! p! }( j1 `$ e
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them., x8 r" A2 s( P1 }

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials- `9 W/ M7 @4 g4 ~8 ^
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different) A; O2 H7 K e& L. ~& d
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events., r* O; P- u9 M+ N% S
6 d- z1 A* ?( hCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
