This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for& N) N& o& q) w" b
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them./ M, ?9 Y# S/ j( Y \( ?
. ?) O3 w8 R: |Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials; _$ T; k. H3 h( z5 o) y+ C
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
# @- n, Z+ s$ ]3 j! ]certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
