EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。; s9 m( q; S$ \2 b% k

时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。

Description:
# j' T# |7 g# O& C. F: a! Z3 _This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for y% f+ o3 {, `; @0 l
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
2 ^0 p& Z4 o# t x" Gof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different R/ B C; T7 `6 g6 [" ~
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.: k- ^& S; V- j' O) u
" x8 G7 L0 ^ o, C; OCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
