Immigrant Settlement Program (ISP) at ASSIST Community Services Centre is currently seeking flexible individuals to fill the following two positions:

Position Title: Outreach Worker (Full time: 35 hours per week)

Job Description
6 \. t& A' {/ v; z-        promote ISP and other programs and services to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
-        contact with various media: i.e. newspaper, radio, website and newsletter etc.
' l8 H9 X$ z3 Z* E- u-        update and develop brochures, pamphlets, information packages and newsletter etc.
; R2 [7 Y% F. t-        promote, organize and coordinate activities for Newcomers Club as well as recruit and maintain new members for the Club.
: |0 j' n0 \& ~" q% N1 O-        ISP report writing, data collection, evaluations conduct and budget management.
-        assist with volunteer recruitment and other business and services as needed and assigned.

Qualifications:
-        post-secondary degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline
  |# v$ o3 r5 ?-        relevant experience with community work
-        Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

Position Title: Receptionist/Immigration Services Worker (Full time: 35 hours per week)
前台/移民服務員
Job Description
-        answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.
-        assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
6 J' g0 w8 s) y7 G$ J2 S( |$ W& J-        report to the program manager and provide clerical support to all members of the ISP team

-        post secondary diploma
5 H* z; n# d+ ^7 l0 b% o- a& S-        customer service and office clerical experiences
6 t. I& R) }# u# S& M-        Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
