ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
! b7 `* M/ {3 y5 o; f6 u. U4 qrecombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness

* P) ^4 x4 Q" `3 b5 P1 O: `: IQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
( m3 U- U" h, lrelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
4 y2 m& P2 Z9 c' R/ D' l2 d9 u  cis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
. h4 G" A6 {4 a; Zthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
  u7 x: k0 C$ g5 y) Naccurate and complete research records.

6 S* r2 K" M' XThis position is conditional to a successful application of external
funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
, Q- T5 {% q9 v1 A# g7 `  U* @salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
