As the Corporate Financial Co-ordinator within the Corporate Accounting and Reporting office of the Finance Branch, you will lead the year-end reporting functions within the City as well as the operating fund corporate accounting, and guide the development of related policy, procedures, and strategies. This includes:

# a ^+ P' W. A Z· Coordinating the completion of the annual consolidated financial statements, the Provincial municipal information return, and other financial reporting for audit.

· Providing advice within the organization and to related Boards and Authorities on options for resolution of financial and reporting issues.# v( j( m0 t, {% A( J' \5 x

JOB REQUIREMENTS:+ k. ^+ { W" ~+ S# s

· University Degree majoring in accounting or finance, and a Professional Accounting Designation.4 L. L3 v" N9 o/ s. f' v, u# [

· A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in the financial accounting and reporting field.

· Experience with complex computerized financial systems. Familiarity with SAP would be advantageous.

HOURS OF WORK:
