As the Corporate Financial Co-ordinator within the Corporate Accounting and Reporting office of the Finance Branch, you will lead the year-end reporting functions within the City as well as the operating fund corporate accounting, and guide the development of related policy, procedures, and strategies. + w; w4 z* p; L9 I) j& ]$ j1 l1 Z· Coordinating the completion of the annual consolidated financial statements, the Provincial municipal information return, and other financial reporting for audit.

· Providing advice within the organization and to related Boards and Authorities on options for resolution of financial and reporting issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: W t3 I& k% k5 Z4 v4 _) ~8 `

· University Degree majoring in accounting or finance, and a Professional Accounting Designation.9 H0 W$ l. F) k* U

· A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in the financial accounting and reporting field.

· Experience with complex computerized financial systems. Familiarity with SAP would be advantageous./ q4 t- V' v1 L. @$ A

· Experience in preparing complex, consolidated financial statements for audit.5 T: [0 H F }8 A% u

· Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.: H8 P* v3 u! t
