愁都与我们无关，舞姿歌声都发自我们心底。不需要专业的培训，也没有华丽8 A. R2 u( M1 A- H6 M
的装饰，却可以尽情秀出自己的风采、个性、特点。我们靠的是一份热情，凭( i0 {+ B) \6 T$ o/ a' h
的是一份执着，要的是你的参与，盼望的是你的捧场。' z& k; g& I9 @1 i5 P. L- w f0 C

节目的内容不限，可以是独唱、合唱、舞蹈、相声、小品、话剧，或是一些才# f6 L) X; c5 c

First call for actors -- CSSA Evening Party for 2008 Chinese New Year

* [* W! W- Q# f5 n9 V2 d of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the/ s7 G0 \0 |- F( [ k) q0 D
eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
( j7 H. K9 O; a+ c, m+ { cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
* A5 J6 k: f4 c0 j" `0 [ customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
+ r" f$ ~* n$ @3 b this broad land.
" ?3 S) z$ F, f6 X& \3 w' e
9 k$ s8 j* v9 x0 e8 `1 U3 QWe encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to
( H+ M# j g2 N contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and- s$ N# X! D. [& p3 _
talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in u w9 X3 o% y9 Q& b0 h( M9 }
performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
7 k9 N0 J2 l' {7 V2 ?/ k H ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in+ Q, o& b( ~) \( V
Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a
( h8 v4 m) |7 J4 A, k6 v& a lot of fun, like what we did before.

( M* e. k* P* TAs far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs
6 Y1 v4 X4 s. V; P8 t9 j9 }' g8 l sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),$ ?; ^" h, \4 {; Z0 `
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any% c f" }3 K9 J8 u0 O+ w- q1 [2 r
performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your, |. L3 J U1 B3 }6 m
program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
0 G) H) ]: h5 e; E9 S6 _ comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since, J+ c8 C8 Z Y, ~' s v
CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.

Meanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also* F0 c( P+ A1 v+ l) c
on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system3 \& E7 Z# n! p, U2 I4 f, }( o- @, f
control.
