愁都与我们无关，舞姿歌声都发自我们心底。不需要专业的培训，也没有华丽

的是一份执着，要的是你的参与，盼望的是你的捧场。

节目的内容不限，可以是独唱、合唱、舞蹈、相声、小品、话剧，或是一些才

First call for actors -- CSSA Evening Party for 2008 Chinese New Year1 i1 q {& _0 @8 z! ^0 m6 L; P0 M
2 I0 ~) @2 x5 [5 NThe Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University. O% {4 q( c v* B" y# Q
of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the
6 m ]' F8 [( j& K9 P eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese6 p9 P% [! o! r1 }9 e9 ?: ~
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and4 o" I/ V5 n6 [! o6 A; I6 S/ M
customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
9 A- x8 h( B' K this broad land.
* _4 q8 p! Q3 G9 w! v4 J: F * j5 `3 T8 B8 l; d5 v9 f; P* c8 A, ~
We encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to. }2 O8 ~, f5 \( p* `3 }# d. U) `
contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and4 i! {+ P X- x, D7 |- I8 c; n
talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in
" k& ?; l! F7 e! X: O5 g) W5 c' ` performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show) S! k. B( L; ]) _# A5 o9 C0 C
ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
4 Y# R0 I# z( w Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a
) u; g Y/ X/ A6 C+ c8 ? lot of fun, like what we did before.' J$ ?+ Y( I+ Q8 N8 o

As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs- @" O6 E' V6 ?3 J& _
sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),
% \ V4 m% P- @2 w5 l9 K stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any R/ e) {4 `* M. d2 t
performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your ~! L1 c5 C7 I- F% m
program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
; P' V. ?8 F8 r6 ^ G+ z7 l; M comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since# f& d7 P, _ P6 a$ a
CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.5 O# z v8 u% t! Q) H3 j3 x

Meanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also4 t l7 v, G, y3 K+ T
on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system
