• provide day to day leadership to support staff in programming functions

• overall management of all agency projects/programs and services

/ v, e+ E+ A* M# J% O8 @+ P* |• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities

• communicate the value of the organization to the public& J8 @. `9 h) ~9 H3 ]5 P9 R
• identify community needs and trends

• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups' I- f8 M- o; V2 Z. a
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

2 i! c) t/ l3 c6 X9 v- University degree in a related field; b% X/ c- {0 \% Y' K" p
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;5 ]9 ~+ q: i8 z
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
( z: z- ?5 T* g1 ~9 ~ v- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization 1 e5 r6 b$ C; J6 [$ C. @
% F% r3 H6 B/ n. e' TSalary
8 [& q1 w5 n. G* n- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits 8 j6 ]+ z {* G9 a5 z
