• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities

9 I( n9 P3 Q$ C l• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
2 ^3 R. V' N0 G• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
" Z; \" o; P9 w; A! R• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

Qualifications: k. d0 ~' `5 s" Q; u
- University degree in a related field; + z7 E9 a9 j5 C- l2 U, @
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
7 Y4 ~9 B0 w- F- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; , h- c8 E8 }$ v% f- l
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization % c! C; X8 M: ?! e: |* U9 |$ A
- |' y9 z( y( P3 t+ E) w
Salary8 C- l, T$ j4 w
- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits " U, C; O: S0 ]5 b- u
