• overall management of all agency projects/programs and services

& M# q! T6 ?" ?7 p- {• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

External Relations
- \: D2 p+ p0 U( }, |1 o. [• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities
" X. ]# F! n* _' s+ N• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders5 P0 N: \( \# W& f$ ?' d* s- ? x
• communicate the value of the organization to the public& ], Z. }6 B- k" T% m
• identify community needs and trends
/ l1 {8 y) V' N( i( K3 y• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups) U4 p1 ~6 Z, L0 D6 C
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups: |" S( \* W" ]& r
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

+ F5 \: ^$ M/ o; H2 V- University degree in a related field;
7 ~$ \1 {* m u- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
' R- t. O6 @) W0 t- G- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; ( {& }, G a0 M* F f6 o
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization . T# ~* z; ^5 j, h0 D0 Y3 y

9 E$ B8 Y' H6 [7 g- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
