JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

6 b  O0 f3 r( H; ], O DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  y3 x$ v. R* v1 e1 R& m
7 R2 b: I+ }0 s% `2 D1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

, v& \2 `1 M. ^6 i( D- i: w2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3 O' Q1 f( t5 `" |2 ?3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

7 b) u* i+ r0 Q/ I: g$ J$ a6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.
& l, t4 e8 a* }7 y. @; k
  E+ S  K6 q, |4 a2) Cashier experience.
* v' k6 }; p& U9 u* T: H6 L, E
. w$ \, B/ R$ M0 L3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

. `: K# U' g& E& ~5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
