JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

4 |; d# m! M" i6 h3 o2 ^) w1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.
# R* _7 t- l3 i$ i6 K
2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
( f' G: L! W# c
3 O. \& }& n( S4 q3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

9 \" h& A/ S2 N2 b3 Q. H4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

* A* H$ K& w& l% d) y5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

& d5 N, _1 [4 ]1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.

5 M) K! N. o4 w8 Z3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
