JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

5 A5 `" K; g% f+ }" l% _2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

! y" P, G8 ~# Z8 e1 [" O8 d" N3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

% U6 X) p( @# l$ [4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

. r3 ~- i: o9 s& D6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

  K% t7 e6 t/ s/ `3 l: R9 k
  o) m3 F+ g$ H6 }, D4 @1 i1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

" l; b9 H( G& J" I' Q2) Cashier experience.
$ F! b. t1 |/ Z) M
9 g) @! ~7 {* z3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
