JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

: M; ?& o" n/ c7 o4 `0 r DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

! _2 J& f+ Q' ^& O  ?1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.
  d! D) H! O( X& ~4 e% p3 S
2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

  y# v  n9 M6 s4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

" b) F0 j8 C4 W! a4 g! `5) Serve as cashier when required.

0 ~3 z2 ]) @# a6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:
2 P7 n. m0 l" K  }4 r0 T
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

: z; g- q" D# L/ R$ }! u5 J+ |4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
