申请者应满足如下条件:
; ?2 E" r# [6 F% g/ }: `. A( Ua) 须获得微电子技术、计算机工程、电子电气工程、计算机科学或相关领域的学士学位或硕士学位。
1 R, G& \/ {! g% p) H& B' r. ab) 平均成绩80分以上（百分制）
6 L; M( g* a$ j8 _c) 托福成绩：笔试550分或以上，机试213分或以上
! B# P' h" B. J7 Hd) 对电路/系统设计或计算机程序设计有浓厚兴趣
e) 有良好团队精神

Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
" y, v6 A4 y# ^: h; \enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
# Q3 K0 P6 Y& r. l  V* |1 v# Mand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
Potential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
7 X0 z4 u0 [, i+ Nintegrated system/circuit design.

The qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
0 b& ~) X1 D1 X! w) |$ b( o(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
( r  V+ Q! S; z* \. u' l8 N* x(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
/ E* [: ~1 d; T4 C) c9 M" }(e) A good team work player.
