Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are1 Q! L, ^& n" K( ]; z) ^
enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems

Potential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital

The qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:% a6 c& p4 H) L' G
(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.2 \! t/ F8 v1 I* k3 q
(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
8 x$ B" R2 n& I- F% D8 ]8 G" {: Q(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
0 F7 [3 O) n1 @(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.4 ? ^+ f$ u. P
