a) 须获得微电子技术、计算机工程、电子电气工程、计算机科学或相关领域的学士学位或硕士学位。
b) 平均成绩80分以上（百分制）
c) 托福成绩：笔试550分或以上，机试213分或以上
# `6 w. t3 ~+ sd) 对电路/系统设计或计算机程序设计有浓厚兴趣
e) 有良好团队精神

" C; `5 z# F: p' l' G* ZPh.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
' n3 {: \# h0 q1 l/ Y% T+ [  benthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
; e  I) H7 F8 J; [% l6 h/ p& Cand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
Potential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
- v2 a; e% g+ M. F) P1 ?2 k# O; U, bintegrated system/circuit design.

The qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
" Y" P) x) B5 |+ ^' l" M# M8 l(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
(e) A good team work player.

Interested and highly motivated candidates are welcomed to apply. Tuition will be
