a) 须获得微电子技术、计算机工程、电子电气工程、计算机科学或相关领域的学士学位或硕士学位。
b) 平均成绩80分以上（百分制）

Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
. H+ y4 z# B2 j' V! G+ Penthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
/ i, ^  q+ J, e) ]# l0 L+ O" |and circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
& E7 \4 e8 [, B  DPotential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
; N) d! V/ ^' \# C' }integrated system/circuit design.

! {8 z, x5 G: |, VThe qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
