Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
! `) k) l; M' X  J3 q8 L* nenthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
9 ^& F! H! W! [# Uand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
Potential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
; t2 X: a' V. y) ~5 |7 `+ C' Dintegrated system/circuit design.

The qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
4 ?) A! ?4 V* x. Q& [$ F: K(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
(e) A good team work player.
