Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
" L- x) u1 M7 q' Benthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems # ?1 k3 S' p! G' t5 U1 }
and circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
& v/ O- H' c( n( _" \9 IPotential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital % [; e. L3 z1 I/ [% Q
integrated system/circuit design.

The qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
3 A( j& v Z0 U! D4 u+ s+ z& `& t8 V(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
* S0 o! E7 b/ E J- Y(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
0 C: @! t" A3 Q$ c1 D(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).: X0 M* }* }# x( s/ @" x5 |7 A
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.% @3 m. U# q5 i& v& b
