An Alberta woman has been charged with stealing thousands of dollars from a small town in Saskatchewan.

% C$ j+ {0 l0 fAccording to the RCMP, the 26-year-old woman from Strathmore, Alta., faces 12 charges including fraud, theft and false pretences.

The RCMP began investigating following a complaint that money was missing from the town of Kyle.

The woman is scheduled to be in provincial court in Swift Current, Sask., on July 25.
