An Alberta woman has been charged with stealing thousands of dollars from a small town in Saskatchewan.9 \ G3 b' i P$ |! h0 n

According to the RCMP, the 26-year-old woman from Strathmore, Alta., faces 12 charges including fraud, theft and false pretences.

The RCMP began investigating following a complaint that money was missing from the town of Kyle.

It was learned that about $18,000 was missing, the RCMP said.

The woman is scheduled to be in provincial court in Swift Current, Sask., on July 25.
