Environment Canada says hailstones as big as baseballs fell in High River, Airdrie and Irricana Sunday night as severe thunderstorms swept through central Alberta.

, h5 l% d2 r, @Several tornado warnings were issued Sunday night. Environment Canada's weather office said several people reported funnel clouds, including one that touched down briefly near Olds.

: Z# y% b7 u6 d5 pBertha Taks, who helps run the campground, said the storm knocked down trees, damaging three trailers.( a, I5 k5 h; Q% Q' s7 R, m$ S* v
