JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
7 X' i6 p5 g( E% l8 L/ sSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical 6 Q. t9 R5 t/ A; z# X' G
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
. e) c; l# }' P0 H; F1 sof Course Pack production.
0 j8 Q* F% F( f' n/ t' Q
R8 J) L$ L" w% C& HDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
" w, ^5 [; X0 _) H: B% m1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
* |: ~0 q3 d9 yof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.. U2 ?3 ]' f" q# X* S2 P/ g
3 G$ {; Y; h) B) w6 N" o
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 6 r- w3 e* J# M& s7 w5 B) O# n' l
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
" {* ]# Y4 w8 s s7 A; P( q/ K! U6 ~( g8 M" [
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of 2 C+ \8 B0 ?; u- q8 ~8 d
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and
5 B) k, U- o, okeeping appropriate and accurate records.! i3 r# o3 P% j3 i
9 h; b+ z; ?2 W1 p
4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment 8 _$ O- E1 u1 C
failures to the Operations Manager.2 V, {" m5 Q2 h o% R4 S& T9 |
# F; c! m: O% T: m5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, ) J: O, Q, h4 I
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

7) To perform other job related duties as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:
2 m* D5 g6 W- L' Y1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
. ]7 R$ v& q2 B/ B+ C3 `$ M2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication & m; U0 x" G' I2 m$ y
skills.
. q3 S V/ z. z! F4 y% L. G3 l0 W9 ~6 J) X# V
3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

) Y( `8 H. B" D4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.$ {" ?4 m p) |" X( w* U( j
9 i, W3 ?" x' R2 Z: Q5 k
5) Ability to work in high stress environment.8 @* m! v* {; f( }. V( X

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
