JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
/ ^8 q& K! Z6 f. p/ E1 rSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical $ A3 B, X1 I2 O0 A7 _* o8 A5 j2 O
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
V' Q6 H% z2 oof Course Pack production.
' Y e3 q% F5 Q1 \" r" e% [/ L7 b2 c4 T
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:( E4 c. [) S+ C, g: Q& e
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning $ H0 ?: s7 N) j l+ v) p
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
; K: K+ i6 \9 T
- H5 i8 a& O& f$ B3 B2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including - C* p7 H$ X6 D7 D: G, T: r z
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
7 o$ w/ G$ U+ Y6 h; F' U5 |$ a( U* h. d5 O Q
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
9 h9 ~& _ d) f$ h6 }course packs. This includes following operational procedures and
% d6 |5 E8 P% R+ O! G$ Ekeeping appropriate and accurate records.6 G( z" i" _9 O" U. @' m% k
# f6 O( C6 W& `8 a+ V4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment & c, Z+ b- N: @; e
failures to the Operations Manager.7 N- c9 t! ^7 K* E" p& D
" s9 }# ^) L, |& p# w6 z8 h5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,

1 z$ D, M ]& q2 c( Z. L; g' K1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
6 B5 j y& Y4 q- v) e2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication & l, ?! |7 I. g. M' l
skills.9 J# \% F; X+ U0 U$ A- m8 a
) X( t( y# i! ]0 j9 l3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.
+ `; R- o0 E7 A" Z2 h0 r! B3 C( E% `. t6 M2 [ R1 c$ ^9 v
4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

5) Ability to work in high stress environment.' P/ J! \; m$ `; }

Shifts: Monday-Saturdays 7am-12pm; 12pm-5pm; 5pm-10pm
