JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
( z& }: e3 S' mSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
; ^5 P% }" x' d8 E% ~( m. U4 z: pSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
" J6 e q4 r9 n; Qof Course Pack production.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
4 {* W7 U* W. c- U0 z1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
s6 q7 D. p/ X( N$ o% B+ k$ pof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
5 l$ \ ^; c E% _ |" t9 n, ]0 I( n6 \, I
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 6 @( X' Q% X# J4 g4 ]: j
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.$ o9 K8 M; B% q5 g8 F
: C. x6 N+ Y, b% G3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
9 c+ s+ s. q0 icourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and
- i& O0 @" [% q+ p% S9 N" Skeeping appropriate and accurate records.$ ~' J1 U3 j8 G7 C3 @8 ~. H

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment E0 i1 P7 g4 U/ X
failures to the Operations Manager.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, ( h" C2 t! z7 k! q
and adhere to regulations as appropriate." c" E- e) m. ~: f; R* w; ~

4 A) ^ A0 {6 L$ X5 ?( ^) e" H1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful./ T$ u2 I' Y5 i5 y! I9 n1 V9 P
3 ^5 }$ ], O% N) x4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
